Aaron Wagner, Ph.D. –Business Development Manager

Dr. Wagner is an experienced business manager and research engineer.  Prior to joining Solid Cell as Business Development Director, he held multiple positions with nano-technology start-up company NaturalNano, including Director of R&D and Director of Business Development.  In his leadership capacities, Dr. Wagner helped create a multi-million dollar product development laboratory and generated the company’s first product orders.  Previously, he was a senior research engineer at leading global catalyst manufacturer Süd-Chemie, where his responsibilities included project supervision, work on US Department of Energy contracts, oversight of pilot production and interaction with US national laboratories.  Dr. Wagner is an innovator with a proven track record of taking technology from the laboratory to production.  He has an extensive background in materials science, materials characterization and catalyst development, having authored more than 15 patents and publications.  He is a skilled communicator and effective manager, not afraid to think outside the box.  Dr. Wagner holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering Degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Master and Ph.D. degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston, and an MBA from the Simon School at the University of Rochester.
